Paula Creamer

Paula Creamer

Paula was just 18 years of age when she won her first title on the LPGA Tour, four days before graduating from high school.

Since then, she's faced many more tough examinations of her remarkable golfing talent - and has passed with flying colours.

RBS began sponsoring Paula in 2005, and we've been proud supporters throughout her pro career.

A second title quickly followed her first, and she qualified for America's Solheim Cup team - the youngest ever player to do so. Not surprisingly, Paula was named Rookie of the Year for 2005.

However, the young Californian has been attracting attention since before then, and not just because of her distinctive fashion statements - she always wears pink. As a 17-year-old amateur, she tied for 13th at the US Women's Open.

There's no avoiding the pink, though. Paula sometimes uses a pink golf ball, has pink grips on her clubs and has been dubbed 'Pink Panther' by peers and fans alike.

Behind the light-hearted nickname lies a hard-edged professional. Now firmly established in women's golf's top 10, Paula is the quickest player in women's golf history to pass $2m and $3m in career winnings.

In 2007, she posted her third successive $1m-winning year with wins at the SBS Open at Turtle Bay and the LPGA Tournament of Champions in Mobile, Alabama.
